The University of Innsbruck (founded in 1669) is largest institution of higher education and research in the west of Austria and covers as a full university a broad range of teaching and research areas. The University’s main mandate is to focus on research and development, teaching and continuing professional education and training. The University has always been a supporting pillar of the Tyrolean society and has influenced the region tremendously.  

The University of Innsbruck in the project BeyondScale:

    • facilitates national and European stakeholder contacts;
    • participates in accompanying research activities, in order to contribute to the regional/national assessment of the methodologies and outputs of the design strategy
    • participates in the identification and presentation of relevant user stories and the definition of project guidelines
