What these guidelines are about…

These guidelines intend to support institutional practitioners engaging in entrepreneurial change processes in their higher education institutions (HEIs). The guidelines in particular show the following:

  • They set out how the HEInnovate tool can be implemented usefully in change processes undertaken by HEIs that wish to strengthen their entrepreneurial character
  • How the tool can be enriched to make it more helpful to support this change process, by means of:
    • Focusing the change process on a particular HEInnovate dimension and activity
    • Expanding the HEInnovate dimension self-assessment statements/questions
    • Making use of a value proposition canvas (VPC) in a workshop with the HEI’s stakeholders
    • Co-developing a shared action plan as a result of the VPC workshop
